And How to SAVE
Because it’s dangerous technical work, tree service rates can be high. But there are ways to save on tree services. And because these things make our job easier and more time-efficient, we offer discounts on the win-win propositions listed below. Either way, we are willing, able and equipped to do the work.
What are the going rates for tree services?
In this economic downturn, our rates have gone down. Depending on the size and nature of the job, you can expect to pay somewhere between $150-200/hr (Winter rates are generally cheaper January – March). This accounts for the number of crew members, insurance, fuel and dumping fees required to get the job done. Your estimator calculates how long the job will take when bidding on the job.
Does it require climbing?
Does it require roping?
How dangerous (and therefore more time-consuming) is the job?
Does the job require trimming or tree removal?
These are some of the issues an estimator must factor in when estimating the cost of tree services.
Remember, there are always ways to customize the job to fit your budget. The following are just a few of the ways you can save.
WAYS TO SAVE ON TREE SERVICES.
1. Keep the FIREWOOD. If you opt to keep the wood (for firewood, for instance) you save.
2. Ask about our Current Discounts.
3. Keep the MULCH. Hauling away stump grindings is a separate charge. If you keep the grindings, you can eliminate that extra charge and obtain free mulch!
We hope this helps you make an informed decision about your tree care needs.
